Title: Enhancing AI Understanding of Symbolic Graphics Programs We are working to help AI understand symbolic graphics programs better, even without direct visual input. Our proposed benchmark SGP-Bench evaluates how well AI interprets SVG and CAD programs, and we've developed methods to improve AI performance in this area. We found that there are significant differences between human and AI performance in interpreting symbolic programs, showing the challenge for machines to understand visual representations compared to humans. Our future research includes investigating AI's semantic understanding and developing advanced methods to improve its performance in these tasks.
